Denise Jalbert

Denise Jalbert is a Maine native who now resides in Hyde Park, NY where she feels a similar connection to the surrounding beauty of the Hudson Valley.

 

Having photography as a hobby, Denise has always felt strongly about capturing the true essence of a place or a person.  And now with watercolor painting as her passion, she is able to take her photos a step further by translating that same feeling into a painting.  “I believe that watercolor has taken me to a deeper level of looking closer at something, which gives me the gift of connecting further with the one truth.”

 

Denise’s work is in many private collections and she currently studies with Betsy Jacaruso in Rhinebeck, NY.
